Survivors Training Collective Course Information
01.
WALKIE STACKER
Need to update your workers skills? The Walkie Stacker short course is designed to give workers an understanding of required checks that need to occur on that machine, how to read and evaluate the machines Data Plate, how to drive safely and keep themselves and the others around them safe.
02.
MAJOR BLEEDING
Perfect for High-Risk Workplaces and First Aid Teams. This short course pairs excellently with Provide First Aid courses and gives learners the skills and knowledge they need to deal with major bleeding of a casualty. Learners will take away the skills of using different bandages and techniques to stop or slow the flow of major bleeding.
03.
CONFLICT MANAGEMENT
A great course to give learners oversight on the detrimental effects that conflict in the workplace has on business. Learners will be able to see warning signs of aggression, be given tools to deescalate and understand the cost of conflict to business every year.
Workers will be given tools to maintain control of their emotions, deescalate the behaviors of others and understand the effects of stress on the body.
04.
TRAUMA TRAINING
This course touches gently on trauma, its causes and effects. It will give tools to overcome the trauma we may be experiencing.
Appropriate for industries where loss and grief are forefront: Funeral homes, First Aid Teams, Nursing Home staff, Rehabilitation Centers, business’s where there has been a major incident where workers have been exposed to shock.
05.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Great for Worker’s annual training requirements, school leavers thinking about undertaking an electrical apprenticeship, or anyone concerned about basic electrical safety in the factory, business or home. Content will cover understanding LOTO, best practices around working with electricity, Risk Management, Duty of Care, testing equipment, emergency preparedness.

FOOD SAFETY
Work around food? This course will give learners an excellent basis for understanding food safety in all environments. Covering topics like PPE, Temperatures for storing, hygiene practices and cleaning practices. The Survivors Training Collectives Food Safety course is appropriate for all places where food is served, cooked, stored or handled.
07.
CROSS CONTAMINATION
This general course has many applications across many different industries, learners will understand how bacteria and microorganisms are transferred from one object to another in social settings and workplaces. It will cover best practices around cross contamination prevention.
08.
INFECTION CONTROL
Learners will have exposure to practices, policies & procedures implemented by NSW Health to manage the transmission of infection and microorganisms, understand different types of infection and the effect on the human body. Learners will be given skills to use best practices when dealing with microorganisms or infection.
09.
PHONE SKILLS
Feeling anxious about speaking on the phone? Don’t know what to say?
This course will give learners confidence around speaking directly to others on voice calls. Voice calls will be used in the workplace or in your private life so get skills to record information about the call, take away the most important aspects of the call and how to control the feeling of the call.
10.
SOCIAL INTERACTION TRAINING
In an overwhelmingly digital age having conversations with others can be difficult or awkward. Learners will be given skills and tools to adjust their body language, read the body language of others, engage in active listening, use open questions and build confidence and resilience when engaging in social interactions in the workplace, school or social settings.
11.
CREATING A CV
For job providers, schools, youth centers and school leavers. Obtain the skills to construct a CV by compiling and sorting through data, customizing the CV for different sectors or industries. Learners will understand the importance of a CV and how to update correctly.
03.
MOTORCYCLE FIRST AID
Appropriate for riders and their loved ones who pillion, riding groups or individuals. This course is run through First Aid for Motorcyclists.
Learners will acquire the skills to complete an emergency helmet removal, understand the statistics around motorcycle crashes and gain knowledge on personal protective equipment. This course runs on a national level and gives skills and knowledge required for motorcycle accidents.
